 Census 2010

As a national profile partner with the U.S. Census Bureau, ICS promoted the inclusion of Caribbean-Americans and African immigrants in the 2010 Census.  Over the course of the year, ICS partnered with the National Black Coaltion on Civic Participation to promote a total Black count and to develop awareness of the multi-cultural nature of the Black Community.  ICS was featured on the CENSUS website as well as on various media.  ICS led the formation of a Complete Count Caribbean Committee and co-sponsored events in New York, Atlanta and South Florida.   ICS continues to serve as a point of contact for the delivery of results of the 2010 Census.
